With silent disco headphones and eyes-closed movement, I’ll guide you into a somatic practice that helps you drop into your body, feel your own energy again, and reconnect with the stillness that lives beneath the noise.

On Saturday, January 2nd, we’ll gather inside a warm oceanfront home on Plum Island as the full moon rises over the water. This evening is designed to bring you into deeper presence.

Under this January Full Moon, you have a chance to pause and check in with yourself, honestly.
Moonlight brings gentle awareness to the habits and patterns shaping how you lead and live, revealing what truly deserves your energy as the year unfolds.

In more than twenty years of holistic psychiatry, I saw the same truth again and again. You cannot think your way into feeling better. Most of us live almost entirely in our heads, disconnected from the clarity, intuition, and energy our bodies hold.

When I first experienced silent, eyes-closed movement, something opened in me. No talking. No analyzing. Just music and the simple invitation to let my body lead. It felt like a kind of freedom I did not realize I had been missing. My energy began to move again. I could feel myself in a deeper, more honest way.

When you reconnect with your body, your whole system shifts. Your energy awakens. You feel grounded, clear, intuitive, and more like yourself. There is a natural ease that talking alone does not create.

  • A two hour embodied ritual inside a warm oceanfront home with floor-to-ceiling views of the SuperMoon rising over the water.

  • A soft landing with warm tea, light snacks, and connection with the other women.

  • A grounding and intention-setting practice to shift you out of your day and into your body.

  • A guided eyes-closed movement journey using silent disco headphones so you can drop out of your head, awaken your energy, and feel what your body has been holding.

  • A closing ritual and a quiet moment on the beach to integrate and ground your energy.

  • An intimate circle of 15 women.

FAQs

Do I need experience with movement or meditation?

 No. Everything is guided and designed to meet you where you are.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing you can move in. Soft, warm layers are ideal. We may step outside onto the beach for grounding, so bring a warm coat if you want to walk onto the sand or stand by the water.

Do I need to bring anything?

Please bring a yoga mat and yourself.  You can bring a journal and pen if you'd like to take some notes 

Is the movement like dance?

Not in the traditional sense. It is gentle, eyes closed, inward movement where no one is watching you.

Will it be loud?

 No. The silent disco headphones offer a quiet, inward focused experience. The sound is meant to draw you deeper into yourself. You have control over your own individual volume of the music and guidance. 

What if I feel self conscious?

Eyes are closed and the space is dim. Everyone is in their own inner world. The space is intentionally held so each person has their own space. 

Is this one indoors or outdoors?

Great question! We will be gathering indoors at on oceanfront property on Plum Island. We will spend a majority of our time inside in the warmth, right next to the ocean via wall to wall windows. We may step outside for pieces of the evening, so bring layers.
